Buying smokeless fuel online: delivery, minimums and what to watch
Many specialist merchants advertise a price with delivery included once you clear a minimum order. Big DIY retailers (B&Q, Wickes) often sell smaller packs with click-and-collect or a separate delivery charge. Affiliate links are marked on the board where the product is listed. In every case the £/kWh column is the pack price only, and delivery stays in its own column.
Watch three things:
- What does the delivery column say? Free delivery and a priced delivery are both ranked on the pack price alone.
- What is the minimum order or pallet break? Larger packs usually win on £/kg and £/kWh.
- How fresh is the number? Every row shows the date we last checked it.
Pallet deals can look attractive until you add the delivery minimum or storage space. The board’s pack rows make the comparison straightforward.
If you are in a smoke control area, confirm the fuel is authorised before you order. See the smoke control note and the current board.
